I look forward to this time each month because that means my BirchBox will be arriving! BirchBox is wonderful because you get hair and skin products suited for you and the time of year. If you are like me the cold, crisp, winter weather means dry and flaky skin. Birchbox is wonderful because they are always introducing me to new moisturizers for my skin and face. September BirchBox

Just when I think my Birchboxes cannot get any better they surprise me each month by topping the last. I will be buying some of these or possibly all of the full size versions of these products. I have loved the all in one leave in hair conditioner. Also, I have always been a Juicy Couture Perfume fan and this one is just as amazing as all the others! August Birchbox

This month's box included an ageless body crème, long wear eyeliner, pore minimizer primer, and a nutrient rich purifying facial cleanser. I would love to hear what you box included and what was your favorite product. Mine this month is the long wear eyeliner. Start getting excited because tomorrow is Friday!

July Birchbox

Yes you read that correct July Birchbox not August. Since moving a few things have been delayed and receiving my Birchbox to my new address was one of them. Birchbox is one of the things I look forward to every month because it is always a surprise what will be in it. Anyway lets get down to business.

July's box included some of my new favorite beauty products. I just took my hair blonder last Friday and the color preserving shampoo and conditioner by Bain de Terre is amazing. This shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair feeling silky smooth and not to mention very shiny. I absolutely love it and plan on ordering the full size bottles, especially because you cannot beat the price of them. The full size shampoo is $12 while the full conditioner is only $13.50, these are the most inexpensive color protecting shampoo and conditioners I have ever found and loved. Next up is the Gardenia scented Harvey Prince perfume. Gardenia is one of my favorite scents and especially in the summer. Lastly, everyone had been telling me that Resist C15 Super Booster Serum is amazing. It is a light weight anti-aging liquid that also brightens while firming the skin and fading dark spots. Thanks to this month's box I was able to finally try it before buying and this stuff really is pure gold! I have to say that July's Birchbox has by far been the best box I have received. I love getting to wear basically whatever I want to work as long as it is cute! The picture above was my work outfit on Wednesday. Today at work we are celebrating the old managers last day before I start in her place Monday. In honor of her last day I thought a Chocolate Bundt Cake from Corner Bakery would be a sweet little treat! Well I hope you have a great weekend and I will see you Monday!

Pleased to meet you

I was very pleased to receive my Birchbox this month. Of course I always look forward to it every month but this month it came with a bonus! I have really enjoyed the deep purple eye liner because I was considering trying out this color and now I have fallen in love. This month's box was themed rainy days and we have definitely had our fair share of those this month in Mississippi. It is finally here! My March Birchbox came in the mail while I was in Dallas. I had been burning to know what this month's box would hold. This box was all about Spring, as I like to look at it a fresh new start with new products sort of like Spring Cleaning. This box had Beauty Protector protect and detangle hair spray, Coola tinted SPF 30, Gilchrist & Soames London Collection body lotion, Harvey Prince Cherie Blossom perfume, Tea Forte minteas, and a little dark chocolate treat from Ghirardelli. I cannot want to try the minteas because they are packed with organic green tea and herbs that give you an instant pick-me-up. I hope your box was filled with joy and products for a fresh new look!

Birchbox

This month's Birchbox is all about red carpet beauty. They have partnered with the editors of US Weekly who obviously know a thing or two about red carpet beauty. Throughout the month they will be sharing star beauty tips and intel what more is there to love. Expect maybe the products that I received this month!

First up we have Harney & Sons Fine Teas. These fine teas come in beautiful little wrapped sachets and are full of rich flavor. I cannot wait to try the Cleansing White Vanilla Grapefruit tea. Next is from OPI and it is their Sheer Tint in Don't Violet Me Down. This small little number is amazing because it is a tinted top coat that provides nails with a touch of high shine, translucent color. Onto Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner, it is a celeb favorite which minimizes pores and absorbs oil to make anyone ready to face paparazzi on any red carpet. Who doesn't love to smell wonderful well Joan Vass L'eau de Cristal will do just that. This scent is filled with a chic blend of bergamot and musky patchouli. To finish up this award winning group is the Beauty Protector Protect & Oil, a new hair oil that helps to defend against UV rays, heat, and breakage. January Birchbox

Who doesn't love testing out the newest beauty products? Well, if you do and you haven't subscribed to BirchBox I don't know what you are waiting for. -  Finally getting the Fox Run White Marble Pastry Board that I have been wanting over a few months now. Of course I used it the second it came in to make these Protein Bites (see post below) -

 

- The Aspen Bay Tent Sale started yesterday and last until Saturday at 6pm. This only happens twice a year and it is one of the most wonderful things in the world! This really is like Christmas, their candles are usually $20-$30 but at the tent sale they are marked down to $4-$8. I mean how can you not love that! Okay so I may have gotten carried away and bought 18 candles, I mean that is completely normal right? Alright maybe it is not but I bought some of them to give to certain people for Christmas presents. -

- Getting my September Birchbox this week. These are always a little goody because you never know what is inside. This month had eye shadows, hand lotion, nail polish, and a sample of perfume -

 

 

- As you know I am interning at a Physical Therapy Clinic this semester well I love it but there might be one little problem. The small problem is patients like to bring us sweet treats very often, this week alone there were fresh, hot, glazed donuts, cookies (sugar and chocolate chip), and a carrot cake. This is only a problem because it is very hard to not eat all of it and I cannot even imagine how it will be around Christmas time -
