Happy Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July! Jay and I are heading back to New Orleans again this year to celebrate with our friends down there since we haven't seen them in a few months. We cannot wait to have a little weekend trip but I have to admit I am a little worried because this is the first little trip that we have taken since I started nursing school. I am really only worried because this semester we have a test every Friday and Monday so I need to make sure I still study a little while being out of town. Any luck you can send my way would be greatly appreciated! Anyway I hope you all have a wonderful long weekend! See you Monday!

Lucky Town Brewery Tour

Over Easter weekend Jay and I got a group of our friends together to go on the Lucky Town Brewery Tour. Lucky Town Brewery is located in downtown Jackson, Mississippi. This brewery is still very new to the area. This brand has a wonderful Blonde and IPA brew. My favorite would have to be their Ballistic Blonde Beer. I highly suggest people visiting the area or that live here need to check out this brewery. This brewery may be small but it packs a lot of local flavor and culture into this little Southern town. Happy Thursday loves!

Weekend Plans

Tomorrow I will be heading down to New Orleans for the Saints preseason game against the Titans! I am so excited that it is almost NFL football season again. I am a huge Saints fan and even though my favorite player went to a different team this year I will still wear his jersey to the games! I cannot wait to have a weekend away in New Orleans with Jay and some good friends! I will be back Sunday night and am planning to have lots of pictures for y'all to see from my weekend. WHO DAT!! Happy Thursday!

Krewe of Endymion

Well here is the big surprise instead of making a king cake I decided why not make a day trip to New Orleans enjoy some king cake and see the Krewe of Endymion parade. I mean what kind of blogger would I be if I didn't make that sacrifice to bring you a front row seat to one of the oldest and biggest parades of the season. Also when I say front row I mean it, we got there three hours ahead of the time it would be to us. Plus the police did not barricade the part where we were so I literally could walk up to the floats and take pictures. The best part about this little trip was finding out that my uncle was riding in this parade this year! I hope you enjoy your front row seat to 2014 Krewe of Endymion!
