New Desk Look

As I have mentioned I have recently moved from Starkville back to Jackson. While I am still getting things all moved in and just how I like them but I have finally gotten my desk in order. My desk was one of the first tasks I knew I had to tackle and complete since this is my headquarters for this blog. Now that it is back in working order it has made me very happy! I love my new cork backing because it allows me to place quotes and magazine clippings that inspire me, plus it allows me to add pops of color which can be changed out easily. I hope you enjoy this new addition and first glimpse into my new space. There will be more to come as I get more settled in! See you tomorrow!

Kate Spade is the Queen of Hearts

Over the past year I have fallen in love with Kate Spade. Walking into any Kate Spade store is like walking into a bright and cheery candy store for grown women. She is a master when it comes to being colorful. Plus, how can you not love all the different chic sayings that all of her products have. I recently received a few of her accessories for Christmas and they are really helping to bet the winter blues. Anyway, as far as I'm concerned she is the Queen of Hearts because all of her products reign in mine!

Thanksgiving Dreams

As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches it makes me realize that I need to go ahead and get all the ingredients for the dishes I plan to make. I love looking at Pinterest and Instagram and seeing all the different holiday images so I decided to share a few of my favorites with you!

Blacked Out

As Halloween draws closer that means it is time to get the house all decorated. I had seen some painted pumpkins in magazines and on Pinterest. I figured a black pumpkin would be different along with being a little spooky. I mean what is Halloween without a little eerie décor. I think making a pumpkin for your favorite sports team or with your house number would look great too! This DIY was very simple to complete. All you need is an hour or two, black matte spray paint, white acrylic paint, and a small paint brush. If you have made one or decide to I would love to see yours. Within the past two years Zara has allowed you to shop online and now they have added a home site too. For those of you who have never been to Zara it is very affordable fashion trends. Since they are known for having high quality items for reasonable prices they still stayed true to that when it comes to their Home décor items.
