Weekly Favorites

- The week was off to a great start with a cup of coffee, blogging, and unpacking some boxes. -

 

- While doing a little home décor shopping I came across this adorable French Bulldog statue. For those of you that don't know I really love French Bulldogs and want to own one some day. -

 

- Thursday I went to Northpark Mall to see and shop the opening of H&M. I will be featuring that next week but just to let you know I am pretty excited about this new edition. -

 

- While unpacking I decided to figure out the arrangement of my new gallery wall and I cannot wait to show y'all the finished product! -

 

- Thursday I also went to Fondren after 5 to see what it was all about but the heat was a little unbearable at that time so unfortunately I didn't stay long but I will go again next month. -

 

Honorable Mention:

 

- Today I am off to Starkville to meet up with Jay and attend the rehearsal dinner for two of our good friends wedding that will take place tomorrow in Columbus. I couldn't be more happy for them! -

Week/Weekend Favorites

Let me start out by apologizing for the lack of posts last week. It was filled with tests and assignments due but don't worry this week things will be back to normal! I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!

 

- Well this past week started off nice with two snow/ice days off from school and work. Which meant I got to enjoy my coffee and watch The Today show with Katie Lee and Hoda. The only downfall to those days was that we didn't get any snow and I had to study -

 

- Getting to enjoy a little study break and the beautiful warmer weather with this guy! -

 

- Receiving these Valentine goodies from my best friend! -

 

- Having the most amazing Valentine's Day with Jay and being completely surprised when he gave me this gorgeous emerald ring that I saw last weekend when we were back home! -

 - Spending Saturday doing a little shopping in Aspen Bay, one of my favorite stores in Starkville. The picture below is just a few of the things I picked up! -

Waiting on Martha

Recently, I discovered this adorable and chic blog called Waiting on Martha . After I found the blog I realized that it was also an online store. Well, of course you know me and I had to check it out and I could not be more thrilled that I did. A little over a week ago I ordered their Spots Matchboxes which can be seen here. - Enjoying coffee while looking at the December HGTV Magazine -

- Finally finishing all my Christmas shopping and seeing this adorable sign at HomeGoods -

- Putting together a few different gift baskets to give for Christmas -

- Receiving my December Birchbox and loving every product in it -

- Spending two days baking to put together a variety of different sweet treats to drop off at Starkville Physical Therapy. Three of the recipes are already posted on here and the last two will be appearing next week. -

Winter Wonderland

The best part about going to Chicago in December is that there is always the possibility that it may snow. This is a big deal since I am from Mississippi and snow is a very rare sight here. I love the snow and it only makes Christmas shopping more festive. With only 8 days left until Christmas I can say that I am almost completely done shopping I just need to get started on wrapping all the gifts. I hope you are on top of your shopping but anyway here are some of my favorite pictures from my Chicago trip! See you tomorrow!
