Winter Wonderland

The best part about going to Chicago in December is that there is always the possibility that it may snow. This is a big deal since I am from Mississippi and snow is a very rare sight here. I love the snow and it only makes Christmas shopping more festive. With only 8 days left until Christmas I can say that I am almost completely done shopping I just need to get started on wrapping all the gifts. It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas

It is a tradition that my father and I go to Chicago in December. We have been doing this since I was seven years old so it has become a tradition of ours and it honestly does not feel like Christmas until exams are over and we are off to Chicago. The purpose of this trip is to get our Christmas shopping done and enjoy the one on one time we get to spend together. I am absolutely in love with Chicago and have always said that I would love to live there one day! Well today is the day and we are off. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is that time of year again. The most wonderful time of the year! The time of the year that my father and I take our annual Christmas shopping trip to my beloved city Chicago! This year though Jay is getting to come along and I could not be more thrilled about that. Most importantly though after finals I just cannot wait to go shopping on the Magnificent Mile! Well, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend I know I will!
