Bright colors are perfect for Spring and Summer. I have been painting my nails lots of different colors to add pops of color to even basic outfits. Here are some of my current favorites for this month!

Peeping into Spring

Whether it is crop tops, cut-out dress, or even perforated shoes the trend this spring is all about letting a little skin peep through. Now I love this trend because I feel like it has a 70's feel to it and can be done in a sexy yet classic way. I plan to entertain this trend this spring. I have already purchased a few crop tops and cut-out dresses but the only fear I have for this trend is people not remembering the basic fashion rules. The major one being that you should only show a little skin and not bare it all. Ladies we all know that if we are going to wear a revealing low cut top then the rest of our body should be fairly covered up. I mean we have all seen or known that girl that just wants to bare it all and hey I am proud of the self confidence you have but truthfully that never looks good on anyone. Anyway, I love this trend but I would love to know your stance on it, so what do you think flaunt it or make it disappear?

BirchBox

It is finally here! My March Birchbox came in the mail while I was in Dallas. I had been burning to know what this month's box would hold. This box was all about Spring, as I like to look at it a fresh new start with new products sort of like Spring Cleaning. This box had Beauty Protector protect and detangle hair spray, Coola tinted SPF 30, Gilchrist & Soames London Collection body lotion, Harvey Prince Cherie Blossom perfume, Tea Forte minteas, and a little dark chocolate treat from Ghirardelli. I cannot want to try the minteas because they are packed with organic green tea and herbs that give you an instant pick-me-up. I hope your box was filled with joy and products for a fresh new look!

- Started off the weekend with a great workout that kept me sore all weekend long -

 

- Made a little spur of the moment trip south to New Orleans to celebrate Mardi Gras! Of course more on that in my other post for today -

 

- Stopped into Lululemon while in New Orleans to pick up some new running shorts since the wear is starting to warm up -

 

- Being home to see my baby enjoy the weather and his football that I got him at Mardi Gras -

 

- Seeing the beauties of spring starting to emerge -

These are a few of my favorite things when it comes to Spring 2013. RayBan Aviator sunglasses are an absolute must for Spring. Recently, I have decided that I really like white Hydrangeas, they just seem to be very clean and refreshing. As you know I love Target so I have to have something from there and these Sugar Blossom soy candles are a good scent for Spring. Pastel colors are always a big trend for Spring and these Butter by London nail polish colors from their Spring Collection 2013 are perfect. Lastly, I love lighter, fruity cocktails for Spring so bring on the Mojitos. I like a regular Mojito but anytime I can get a Strawberry one I have to have one. Happy Spring 2013!

Spring Break 2013

I have been in paradise for the past week, Destin, Florida for my junior Spring Break! A week off from college, tests, and work was just what I needed. This past week was relaxing, fun, and good times spent with good people! Now, it is time to go back to the real world. For now here are pictures from the past week and I apologize for not taking any pictures at night.
