Ladies and Gentlemen, it is that time of year again. The most wonderful time of the year! The time of the year that my father and I take our annual Christmas shopping trip to my beloved city Chicago! This year though Jay is getting to come along and I could not be more thrilled about that. Most importantly though after finals I just cannot wait to go shopping on the Magnificent Mile! Well, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend I know I will!

Christmas Party
I had mentioned that I would be having a little Christmas party for my friends before we all started the hectic studying for exams. I had the party last week and it was great! We just talked and watched the Victoria Secret Fashion show. Which of course was AMAZING like it always is. Anyway, here are just a few pictures from the night. Enjoy!

Thanksgiving Recap
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, I know I did. I started it off with a good two mile run with my running partner (Mozart).
Once I was done running it was time to start baking a dessert for lunch. I decided I would make a Crumb Topped Apple Slab Pie.
I had never made this before and I was so happy that everyone loved it! The recipe for this will be on here on Monday. The rest of the day was filled with family and food (lots of it). I think my family went a little over board on the amount of food this year.

I had a wonderful dinner with a few girl friends last night. Sushi and catching up there isn't much that is better than that. I also did a little Christmas decoration shopping yesterday. I ended up buying a few things I need for my little Christmas party I will be having and then at Target I found a reindeer that I have been looking for!
The checkout lady thought I was crazy for buying this. She asked me if I liked to hunt. Well, you may think I am crazy too for wanting this but my idea is to put it above the shelf in my living room which serves as a mantle during Christmas time. If you are thinking "will I be leaving it up all year round?" . The answer is no it will just be for Christmas. I will be posting pictures hopefully next week of my house decorated for Christmas so hopefully this little guy will look good and if not then back to Target he goes. Well, I will see you tomorrow and if your like me then you are getting everything ready for Thanksgiving.

Apologies
I am very sorry for not posting for a while. I wish it was because I was busy but unfortunately it was because for some reason my laptop has not been letting me run this site so I have not been able to post. Well now that I am home for the Thanksgiving holiday I will be able to post everyday since there are other computers here that will let me run this site. Anyway, it is so nice being home for the holiday even though it will be pretty busy. Last night, I went to see Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 with my mom. It was nice just having a little relaxing movie night on a Monday night. Tonight, I will be going out to eat with a couple of my girl friends for a little girls night. I will keep you informed about the rest of my week a little later. But before I end this is post I should catch you up on this past weekend! Friday night was Jay's SAE Semi-formal. Well I waited till the last minute to find a dress and ordered one online and had it overnighted and luckily it worked out perfectly!
A simple little black dress (LBD) always works for any occasion. I just needed to dress it up with some Kendra Scott earrings, strappy Nina heels, and of course a long winter coat because it was pretty chilly that night.
The night was very fun! A lot of dancing with friends! Then, Saturday the Bulldogs played the Arkansas Razorbacks and won 45-14 so it was a good day. Jay and I also got to visit with his aunt and uncle in the junction for a little tailgating since I will not see them for Thanksgiving. To end the weekend, Sunday I finally got my Christmas tree down from my attic and put it up but did not get around to getting the ornaments on it because I decided I might want some new ones to go along with the ones I already have. Which means decoration shopping over the Thanksgiving break! Sunday ended with me cooking dinner for Jay and I and us catching up on three weeks of the show Revolution that we have gotten hooked on. So all and all the weekend was very good and I know this week will be the same! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend too! See you again tomorrow I promise.

Workout Wednesday
Since the holidays are right around the corner it is time to start working out because we all know that we will be eating a lot of unhealthy but delicious food. I am a person who actually likes to workout and my personal reminder that I have written on my calendar is "Sweat Everyday". Wednesdays for me means a 50 minute spin class. I used to hate spin but now I have gotten to where I look forward to it each week, it is just such a good, fat-burning, and endurance building workout. I enjoy lots of different forms of exercise and I want to encourage you to find the type that you actually enjoy. Get out there and get active! See you again tomorrow.

I am so ready for this weekend! This week has been a little rough with tests and lots of school work, but you have got to love college! This weekend will consist of going home today and hopefully going to Mistletoe Marketplace, then dinner at P.F. Chang's with the boyfriends family. Saturday I will go down to Baton Rouge, La to LSU for the LSU vs. MSU football game.
This will be my fourth time in Death Valley and I am ready to be there already! Hopefully, I will finish up this weekend with a little relaxing on Sunday. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! See you again Monday and I promise I will not be absent from here anymore like I have been recently!

Today is the Day! This is your chance to have a voice so make sure that you go out and vote. We have all seen the campaign commercials and watched the debates now is the time to go out and make a difference. I am not going to say much more than that because I do not feel that it is right to argue about which candidate I want to win on here. See you again tomorrow! Happy Election Day!!

Real Housewives
Finally, my favorite Real Housewives are back! I love all the Real Housewives series but The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are my favorite ladies. This season looks like it is very juicy. With that being said though I am not really sure what I think of the new housewife Yolanda. She seems like she is not very easy going like all the other women are. If I had to pick my favorite housewife I think it is Lisa Vanderpump!
She is classy, funny, gorgeous, and british. I also adore Giggy and all his outfits he wears. If you are not a fan but want to check it out it is on Bravo Monday nights at 8/7c.

Happy Halloween!
Well it is finally Halloween! I am ready for a costume party tonight even though I haven't really decided what I am going to be yet. I will either be a nurse or a black cat. Right, now I am leaning more towards the black cat. Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween! Lastly, here is how my house was decorated for Halloween this year! Enjoy!
Trick or Treat and Happy Halloween!!

Camping! Part 2
As you know I went camping this weekend with Jay and another couple in Fort Payne, Alabama. Desoto State Park was so beautiful. I loved seeing all the fall foliage and the crisp weather made it even better. I really enjoyed hiking through the woods to find waterfalls even though they were a little dry. The weather was absolutely perfect for sitting around a campfire making S'mores and bundling up with the that special someone. I guess I did actually like camping and would not mind going again sometime as long as the weather is chilly like it was this weekend.
