Fresh Ink

Say hello to Fresh Ink's stationary and gifts store's new employee! That's right I am finally done with school work for a whole year and will be working at this amazing, creative, and colorful store. Right now I am a little unsure of my exact job title but I know it has the title of manager in it. I absolutely love coming into work here because you never know what new things will be arriving! I also love the location on the second floor of Banner Hall because of the big windows that overlook Highland Village that let in the gorgeous morning light. Even though I just started Monday I can tell that this is the right place for me and I am very excited to be working here! Below are some items such as Kate Spade and Lily Pulitzer agendas, Cinco Powell tassels, and Thimblepress Confetti Push Pops that we currently have in the store and online. H&M Opening

Finally Mississippi has an H&M! I could not be more thrilled that we finally have one and it is in my hometown. If you are like me then you always have to stop into one when traveling or sometimes even pick your destination because there is one there. I have to say I have done both and I am not ashamed. I love H&M because they have trendy pieces that are very reasonably priced. I attended the grand opening of their new 24,000 square foot store in Northpark Mall in Ridgeland on June 5th. The turnout was more impressive than I had expected from the DJ to some grand opening deals it was definitely worth the wait. I hope they love their new home here in Mississippi because I love them here! See you tomorrow.

Waiting on Martha

Recently, I discovered this adorable and chic blog called Waiting on Martha . After I found the blog I realized that it was also an online store. Well, of course you know me and I had to check it out and I could not be more thrilled that I did. A little over a week ago I ordered their Spots Matchboxes which can be seen here. Sprouting

If you have noticed recently I have decided that once a week I will feature a store, restaurant, or event in Mississippi that is worth checking out, whether you live here or are visiting. I think is this allowed me to find new ways to love this hospitable state that I live in. This week I am featuring the store Sprout baby, home, and garden that is located here in Starkville, Ms. As you know I love all things home which means of course I had to check it out. Perhaps you are like me and thought that this store was mainly just baby but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in! The home décor here was right on point. After, leaving that store I dreamed of all the different items and wished I could redecorate my whole house. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into the store through my eyes!
