With Love From Mississippi

This past weekend my amazing and fabulous cousin Morgan finally found the perfect apartment for her in Dallas, Texas. I could not be more thrilled for her and cannot wait to get over there to see it in person once it is all decorated. I decided since that may be a little while I should send her a surprise gift box from Mississippi filled with love and confetti of course! This surprise move in box consisted of a Thimblepress Confetti Push Pop, Thimblepress Cue the Confetti Card, Small Aspen Bay Volcano scented Candle, and last but not least a Spotted Matchbox with Pink Matches from Waiting on Martha! I am so glad that she loved everything inside of it! Now that she has opened it I can finally share it with you! See you tomorrow!

Fresh Ink

Say hello to Fresh Ink's stationary and gifts store's new employee! That's right I am finally done with school work for a whole year and will be working at this amazing, creative, and colorful store. Right now I am a little unsure of my exact job title but I know it has the title of manager in it. I absolutely love coming into work here because you never know what new things will be arriving! I also love the location on the second floor of Banner Hall because of the big windows that overlook Highland Village that let in the gorgeous morning light. Even though I just started Monday I can tell that this is the right place for me and I am very excited to be working here! Below are some items such as Kate Spade and Lily Pulitzer agendas, Cinco Powell tassels, and Thimblepress Confetti Push Pops that we currently have in the store and online. Be sure to check us out at our website and follow us on Pinterest and instagram.

Shout-out to my Hometown

This week the ever fabulous blog DesignSponge featured my hometown of Jackson, Mississippi. In the past few years Jackson has been growing and improving. I am starting to become more proud of the southern town that I grew up in. I absolutely loved their feature and cannot wait to go home this weekend to check out some of the places featured. Truthfully, even though I am from there the list contained some places I have yet to check out. This makes it fun to kind of rediscover my hometown! I have to give a HUGE shout-out to a fellow classmate of mine from the Jackson Academy class of 2010 - Avery Nejam. This girl is one of the most creative people I know and I am so proud of her for already starting a business! Y'all check this girl out! Let me end by saying the biggest thanks to DesignSponge for the feature from a Jacksonian. Check it out here!
