Happy New Year 2016!

I am so sorry I disappeared towards the end of last year. Nursing school got very busy with classes, tests, labs, and 12 hour clinicals. I am happy to have had a long Christmas break and plan to try to get back to more of a regular schedule with blogging again. Most of these first few posts will be glimpses into vacations I took in December. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year! See you tomorrow with a cookie recipe!

Lindy and Austin's Wedding in Memphis, TN

I know that is this a month over due but last month I started Nursing School and have been completely immersed in studying. Sometimes I am so immersed it feels like drowning. This week was that first week since I started that was able to come up for some air for a few days. I am so grateful for all the support I have received from people and thank you very much for sticking it out with me and being patient as I learn how to manage my life again while being in school. All this aside lets dive into Jay and I's trip to Memphis, Tennessee last month for our friends Lindy and Austin's wedding at the gorgeous Annesdale Mansion. 

While we were in Memphis Jay and I played tourist so be sure to stop by tomorrow to see that part of the trip too! See you tomorrow!

Love is in the air!

After the holidays I am always sad that all the decorations are gone but with Valentine's Day right around the corner I am seeing spaces filled with love. All the pink, red, and pops of gold are making me very happy especially since it is so gloomy outside. Love is in the air here at Fresh Ink! If you are in need or a card for the special someone or just a few little happies for those wonderful friends then be sure to check it out! I have already gotten everything I need to send some love to my girlfriends and of course the perfect card to give to Jay.
