Weekend Favorites

- Friday night was Jay's last SAE Semi-Formal -

- Saturday Jay and I ran some errands and did a little Christmas shopping too! -

- Saturday was my long running day for my half-marathon training which means that I needed to run 6 miles. I have to admit I was nervous and scared that I would not be able to make it. But it turned out great! -

- It is starting to look a lot like Christmas around my house here in Starkville and around my parents house back home. -

Workout Wednesday

For those of you that do not know already know I am Pilate's Instructor. Since, I have been teaching for almost two years now, that means that my wardrobe for work consists of lots of different workout clothes. I often get asked where I get most of them from so I decided that I would answer this question on here. For chic fitness clothes that won't break the bank the best places to shop are Target, Old Navy, JC Penney, and Forever21. The medium priced range would be Zella at Nordstrom, Gap, and Athleta. As far as a place that will cost you a pretty penny its name is Lululemon. While it may be a little expensive it has amazing clothes that will last after years of wear and tear. Now that you know all my little stops for fitness clothes feel free to let me know if you have any others that I did not mention here.

I know everyone is trying to keep their New Year's Resolution to stay fit or get fit this year but that can be challenging when the weather outside is frightful. Even though I live in the South it still gets pretty chilly during the winter especially if you are getting up early for a run. After six years of running track in cold, rainy, and windy winter weather I learned how to dress for it when I go for a run. I figured I would share some of my favorite and reasonably priced cold weather gear.
Pictured above:
 1. Women's Active Compression Jacket from Old Navy in Retro Violet
2. Gapfit Primaloft Puffer Vest from Gap in Clean Lime
3. Champion C9 Women's Compression Cold Tights from Target
4. Champion C9 Women's Puffer Front Jacket from Target in Blue/Gray
5. GapFit Motion long-sleeve T from Gap in white
6. Champion C9 Women's Tech Touch Gloves from Target
7. Champion C9 Women's Green Marled Headband from Target

Hopefully, these will help everyone stick to those fitness goal for 2013 while still looking chic. See you again tomorrow. Stay Motivated!!
