Number 1

Look who is back and look who is ranked number one in the AP Top 25 Poll. That's right my Mississippi State University Bulldogs are ranked number 1. This is so exciting and surreal! I still cannot believe that we are ranked number one after our win this past Saturday over the #2 Auburn Tigers. This past Saturday we also hosted ESPN College Game Day in the Junction for the first time ever in MSU history. Basically these past two weekends have been crazy in the state of Mississippi and especially the small college town of Starkville, MS. I couldn't be more proud to be a MSU Alumni!! GO DAWGS!!

Weekend Favorites

- My weekend started on Thursday with the Mississippi State University game against Kentucky -

 

- Saturday night Jay and I went to a friend's engagement party -

 

 

- Sunday Jay and I ran a few errands and picked up our Halloween costumes. You will have to check back in later this week to see them -

 

- We ended the weekend with the horror movie The Possession -

Omaha Bound

Can I get a Hailstate? That's right MSU is going to Omaha for the NCAA College World Series in baseball.  I will personally not be going but will be watching on TV and cheering from Starkville! Way to go Bulldogs! GO DAWGS!!

Week/Weekend Favorites

 

1.    This week started off great by having Monday off from school for Memorial Day. It was a nice relaxing day. I hope everyone enjoyed there Memorial Day!

2.    Planting Mums in preparation for Fall! As many of you may know Fall is my favorite season. I love the cooler weather.

3.    Getting to go eat with my mother and grandmother that came up for the day just to visit!

4.    Baking these wonderful “Boyfriend” cookies for my sweet house guest who was staying for the MSU game. Being a Southern girl I feel like you should always have something baked when you have a house guest. I am so glad that she loved them! If you are wanting this recipe be sure to check in tomorrow for it!

5.    A sweet text message from my house guest! It makes me so happy that she loved my place and had a good restful night.

6.    Saturday started off to a great start with the MSU 28-10 win over Auburn! GO DAWGS!

7.    The weather was amazing for tailgating after the BIG win!

8.    Saturday was a great day overall because it ended with Jay and I getting to go out and spend time with this amazing couple! This couple is Jay’s older sister and her husband they really are so sweet and great people to be around! I really do love them like family!

9.    Sunday was the first Saints game of season and even though they lost to the Washington Redskins I don’t care because I still believe in my team! WHO DAT BABY!

Absence

Please excuse my absences. I know I have not been posting recently. I would like to apologize for that but my life has been CRAZY busy recently. I went from Destin, Florida to New York to Starkville, Mississippi (posts about trips later). Needless to say I am so EXHAUSTED. But there is no time to take a break or rest because my junior year of college started yesterday. I cannot believe I am already a junior. It is scary but of course exciting at the same time. I am very excited to be back with all my friends and am looking forward to Fall fashion and of course SEC and NFL Football. GO MSU!! WHO DAT BABY! Sorry heads up to all my readers who do not really know me I am a HUGE football fan so of course there will be posts about that during the Fall.  Anyway, I am back to my regular self now and will be posting daily again. So do not forget to check in everyday to see what is going on in my life.
