Number 1
Look who is back and look who is ranked number one in the AP Top 25 Poll. That's right my Mississippi State University Bulldogs are ranked number 1. This is so exciting and surreal! I still cannot believe that we are ranked number one after our win this past Saturday over the #2 Auburn Tigers. This past Saturday we also hosted ESPN College Game Day in the Junction for the first time ever in MSU history. Basically these past two weekends have been crazy in the state of Mississippi and especially the small college town of Starkville, MS. I couldn't be more proud to be a MSU Alumni!! GO DAWGS!!

Brunch Tailgating
Saturday the Mississippi State Bulldogs played the UAB Blazers at 1pm. Early game days means Brunch inspired tailgating complete with Bloody Mary's and Mimosas. Since it was expected to rain again this Saturday I decided it would be easier and the best decision to just host the tailgate at Jay's apartment so we could stay dry, cool, and watch the game. Even though it ended up not raining until after the game Jay and I still thought that was the best decision we have made in a long time because we were able to watch and even attend the game and not have to worry about our tent and taking it down after. We watched the game at Jay's place until halftime and then watched the second half with his parents in the Dave's Wade Stadium Club Level. All and all Saturday turned out to be a great game day especially with the Bulldogs pulling out a win. Way to go Dawgs!! We won't be tailgating for about a month because the next few games are away until October 4th but Jay and I will not be in attendance to that game because we will be in New York for the weekend. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and if you are a football fan whether it is College or NFL I hope your team won! See you tomorrow!

Tailgate Hostess
Saturday was my first time to host a MSU Tailgate for the game against Southern Mississippi. Even though it was rainy it still turned out great and I learned some do's and don'ts after this game. Despite the rain the Mississippi State Bulldogs still won, with a final game score of 49-0! Way to go Bulldogs! We are planning on trying to host another tailgate this coming Saturday but we will just have to see what the weather decides to do. I hope you all had a great long weekend! See you tomorrow with my recipe for Spinach and Artichoke Dip.

If Walls Could Talk
About two months ago I mentioned I was getting ready to assemble a gallery wall for my house. Well unfortunately that didn't happen there but it has finally come to life in my new place! I am still in the process of getting things moved in but I am so happy to have my gallery wall up. I wanted mine to have personality and not just be a collection of pictures. I made sure that mine had images that represent Mississippi State University and my initials to make mine more personal. Along with being personal I wanted it to add pops of color to the room and I believe that it has successfully done so. Anyways I hope you like it as much as I do and I promise there will be more features to come a little later! See you tomorrow!
Mozart wasn't too interested in the process so he did his usual thing and stole my socks. I think someone just wanted attention.
Lots of Love, Natalie

Mississippi State University Graduation
Let me start out this post by apologizing for my extended absence but May was a very busy and crazy month for me. It started out with exams which then lead to a trip to Disney World with Jay's family. After that it was home for two days for Jay and I's graduations from Mississippi State. Then we headed to Destin for a week. Once I was home it was time to start packing up my house in Starkville to start my move back to Jackson! Well the month of May has come and gone so fast it seems and here we are in the month of June and the full swing of the Mississippi summer heat. Since it was a blur for me I decided I will start with reviewing May. With that being said lets go back to May 16th!
I have to admit that I was very nervous before the ceremony. These past four years of my undergraduate at MSU flew by so fast. I cannot believe it is over already because I can remember my freshman orientation and signing up for classes and thinking these four years will be so long. It truly is bittersweet. I am blessed and thankful for all Mississippi State has taught me and the friends that I made along the way!

Starkville: Between Main Street and the District
If you have ever lived in Starkville or even visited you would be able to recognize some of these different eateries. Starkville really is an enjoyable and hospitable little town. Over the past four years I have come to learn that it is more than just a college town. I hope you enjoy and see you tomorrow for the Cotton District!
Lots of Love, Natalie
