Number 1

Look who is back and look who is ranked number one in the AP Top 25 Poll. That's right my Mississippi State University Bulldogs are ranked number 1. This is so exciting and surreal! I still cannot believe that we are ranked number one after our win this past Saturday over the #2 Auburn Tigers. This past Saturday we also hosted ESPN College Game Day in the Junction for the first time ever in MSU history. Basically these past two weekends have been crazy in the state of Mississippi and especially the small college town of Starkville, MS. I couldn't be more proud to be a MSU Alumni!! GO DAWGS!!

Mississippi State University Graduation

Let me start out this post by apologizing for my extended absence but May was a very busy and crazy month for me. It started out with exams which then lead to a trip to Disney World with Jay's family. After that it was home for two days for Jay and I's graduations from Mississippi State. Then we headed to Destin for a week. Once I was home it was time to start packing up my house in Starkville to start my move back to Jackson! Well the month of May has come and gone so fast it seems and here we are in the month of June and the full swing of the Mississippi summer heat. Since it was a blur for me I decided I will start with reviewing May. With that being said lets go back to May 16th!
I have to admit that I was very nervous before the ceremony. These past four years of my undergraduate at MSU flew by so fast. I cannot believe it is over already because I can remember my freshman orientation and signing up for classes and thinking these four years will be so long. It truly is bittersweet. I am blessed and thankful for all Mississippi State has taught me and the friends that I made along the way!

Hailstate

This weekend MSU beat Tennesee making us 6-0! MSU is now also finally bowl eligible. Along with becoming 6-0 we also moved from #20 to #12 in the BCS national rankings! This deserves a big HAILSTATE! It feels great to be a bulldog. We will hopefully be 7-0 after our homecoming game this saturday against Middle Tennessee, but after that is when the games get really tough as we play Alabama, I believe in my dawgs though. I really do think we are becoming a team that will be hard to beat!

GO DAWGS!!
