Love is in the air!
After the holidays I am always sad that all the decorations are gone but with Valentine's Day right around the corner I am seeing spaces filled with love. All the pink, red, and pops of gold are making me very happy especially since it is so gloomy outside. Love is in the air here at Fresh Ink! If you are in need or a card for the special someone or just a few little happies for those wonderful friends then be sure to check it out! I have already gotten everything I need to send some love to my girlfriends and of course the perfect card to give to Jay. I cannot wait until February 14th and I hope you are just as happy as I am to see all the pops of red and pink everywhere. See you tomorrow!

Tribal
Yesterday's outfit was tribal inspired with this top from Libby Story. I added some gold to the outfit with my DKNY watch and Gold Chunky Chain necklace from H&M. The Jessica Simpson two-tone mule wedges gave the outfit the little boost it needed. I hope to see you tomorrow with a look into what my weekend holds. Happy Wednesday!

Fat Tuesday
I promise this is the last Mardi Gras post! Well today is Fat Tuesday which marks the end of the Mardi Gras season so I thought I would show you how we decorate for it. It seems to only get more elaborate each year, with that being said my mom and I already have ideas for next year! Well have a Happy Fat Tuesday!

Cordially Invited
You are cordially invited to the Mimosas and Brunch Party that I hosted this past Saturday for my girls! It turned out better than I was expecting and was a ton of fun. We will for sure be doing it again some time but until then here is a look at the party. I hope you enjoy!
There will be my DIY on how to make this backdrop later, be sure to catch it!
P.S. I already have the idea for the next little get together I will be hosting! See you tomorrow for a Grammys Recap which means if you didn't watch it last night then watch it before tomorrow. Happy Monday!

DIY Golden Dot Mugs
Golden Dot Mugs:
I have seen golden dot dinnerware a lot recently. I figured it shouldn't be too hard to replicate. When I saw that you can write or draw on ceramic dishes with sharpie and then bake them I knew it was time to try. I saw these chic mugs on Pinterest:
This past weekend I went to goodwill to buy plain white mugs for cheap. I decided I didn't want to spend to much on the mugs just in case I messed them up. I bought two gold sharpies and got started right away. I free handed my circles and preheated my oven to 350 degrees.
Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes. After, let them cool in the oven. Now, you have some fun mugs. This mugs just seem to make getting up a little easy because they are so cheery. Happy Monday!

Magazine Heaven
I absolutely
love to shop at Target and I love home décor. Honestly, I think Jay questions
if I love it more than I love him. Well Target is a close second. Anyway Target
has started doing the Shops at Target. For those of you that do not know what I
am talking about when I say that the Shops at Target. This is when they feature
four very successful and trendy stores with lower priced stuff for the Target
customer. When I saw the home décor items from Patch NYC I thought I had died
and gone to heaven. They featured a lot of black, gold, and white (which I am obsessed
with right now) in very classic updated pieces.
When I saw
this black and gold classic magazine holder I knew I had to have it! Especially
since it was only $34.99!! I mean DIE!! I knew exactly where I would put it.

I believe
it is a gorgeous new addition to my newly redecorated room in Jackson. So if
you haven’t been into Target recently I suggest you go check it out and maybe
you will find something you love just like I did! See you again tomorrow!
Lots of
Love, Natalie
