Artwork Love of 2013

Watercolor paintings are my new favorite type of art for 2013. Two of my favorite artists are Leigh Viner and Cate Parr, both of which can be found on etsy. The reason why I am so interested in this art is because there is just some thing so simple but fabulous at the same time about their artwork.

Design Re-Do

I am absolutely obsessed with decorating and interior design! Once I got back from London I
decided I was ready to redo my room at my parent’s house in Jackson. It was a robin’s egg blue
with chocolate brown and light green accents. I decided I was ready for a more grown up look and
something a lot more neutral. Anyway here is what I came up with:

If anyone is interested in the gorgeous abstract paintings they were done by my best friend
Anabel. She would love to paint some more for anyone!

Colors and Texture

Abstract Art is a big trend right now and I have to admit that I have become completely obsessed with it. I know that it seems so silly and easy but I have tried it and it really isn’t. I love how these artists are able to incorporate so much color and texture into one piece! The texture is really why I love it so much! Here are some artists that I have fallen in love with!

                                                                                                  Siiso:

                                                                                           Kristy Gammill:

                                                                                           Maurie Hartel:

If you hadn’t been introduced to these artists before I hope you love them as much as I do now! Enjoy!!
