DIY Cobalt Blue Bejeweled Beanie

At this time of year people seem to suffer from the winter blues. Well, if you have this Cobalt Blue Bejeweled Beanie then it makes it almost impossible not to beat them. The color is so vibrant and the jewels just give it that little extra punch. I was hoping to wear it this week but the weather has decided to warm up here. Don't get me wrong I enjoy warm weather but I am a rare Southerner who actually enjoys and wishes for chilly weather. Therefore, the next time it gets cold here I will be rocking this beanie for a chic winter look and I will post pictures when I do! 

DIY Cobalt Blue Bejeweled Beanie:

Supplies:

hot glue gun

iridescent gems from a craft store

one beanie (any color)

* I purchased mine from Forever21; here it is

Steps:

1. Lay out all gems so you can have full sight of your options.

2. Begin to place gems wherever you think looks best.

3. Once, you have decided on your pattern start to glue them down.

4. Finally, let it dry and wear it with an amazing outfit!

Santa's Helper

Since Santa will soon be on his way it is time to make the final decisions on my 2013 Christmas list. I have been thinking of things to ask for a lot in the last week and while I have picked a few things it seems I need your help making a decision on one of the presents on my list. I have been loving the Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC crossbody handbag so it is no surprise that it would be making it's appearance on my list. The only dilemma I am having is trying to pick a color out of all the colors of the rainbow that these bags come in. That is where you come in!

I have narrowed it down to these two color options but I cannot seem to pick. The two colors above are Black and White or the Cobalt Blue. Please help me out by leaving a comment below on which color you would pick! Happy Wednesday!

Week/Weekend Favorites

First off, I hope that everyone had a great week/weekend! I know I did! Anyway here is a recap of my week and weekend favorites!

1.      Best thing from this past week had to be my Wine and Cheese catch up session with Anabel on Monday night!

2.      I am so excited and obsessed with my two new bikinis and cute cover up! Now August just needs to hurry up! Beach trip August 3-10^th!

         3.  This top made my Tuesday great! I love the cobalt blue color; I am planning on wearing this on the fourth of July (possibly). So be sure to check back in and see if I did!

4.     Having time to spend hours laying out and catching up with family around this pool! Now this is not my house or my parents (sadly). This is my Aunt and Uncle’s house in Madison! Gorgeous!

5.      I know y’all will think I’m weird for this being one of my favorites, but having the time to really work out and run this weekend! I’m sorry but my day does not feel complete until I get a workout in.

As I mentioned before I hope everyone enjoyed their week/weekend like I did! For those of you that didn’t I really hope this coming week is better! I mean the Fourth of July is Wednesday so hopefully everyone will have time off from work to bbq or just enjoy the day!
