Life Lately

I bet most of you have been thinking that I have abandoned Candy Coated Prada or maybe just traveling to lots of different places, well let me inform you that both are incorrect. I wish I had been vacationing instead of taking two online classes. These classes ended up taking over my whole life and summer. I truthfully didn't have a life other than studying or taking quizzes. On top of taking these classes I was also moving back to Jackson, MS. Well now that they are thankfully over and I am starting to get settled in I can resume my life and get back to blogging. I really did miss blogging and it made me realize just how much I love it and what joy it brings to my life. Therefore in the next few months Candy Coated Prada will be getting a much needed facelift. I am very excited about it and I hope you will love it too! Anyway it is great to be back and I promise I am here to stay! As always thanks for reading!

Wait for it

I apologize that this weeks post were a little lackluster. I promise it will be better from here on after the changes that were made in my life this week. With that being said I previously mentioned that I would be attempting to make a King Cake this weekend well that unfortunately will not be happening because I have a bigger surprise planned for y'all that will be a ton of fun! See you Monday to show you and I will also be doing a weekend favorites then too! Thank y'all for being so loyal and patient with me as my life goes through changes this semester! Making it or Trying too

This quote is perfect for my day. While it may be Friday it doesn't mean it is the weekend just yet for me. I did not get to bed last night or I guess I should say this morning until around 1:30a.m because I was studying for a test. Then, got up at 4:45 for work from 5:30-7:30 a.m. I will be taking my test at 10, so say a little pray because apparently it is supposed to be hard. Anyway, do not worry I did not forget about y'all and make sure to check back in around 1:30-2pm today. I promise to have another post up then. Happy Friday!

Timing is Everything

This past weekend must have been all about trying to make me feel like I am getting old. It all started when I got a letter in the mail summoning me for Jury Duty. The only people I ever knew of that had Jury Duty were my teachers in high school and now I have been summoned. Then, came applying for credit cards. I have been thinking I needed to start building my own credit since I have two jobs and a steady income but I have to admit it was a little scary hearing my dad say "that he was thinking the same thing". Lastly, the weekend ended with me booking and planning the trip to Atlanta that Jay and I will be taking later this month. Well, I have to admit I am a little shocked but I am glad it is all slowly happening and not just being throw on me all at once. Which made me think about the quote above by Albert Einstein and how it could not be more true. I hope this quote will help you appreciate the timing of everything in life. Happy Monday!
