Lets admit it nobody likes cleaning the bathroom. Well, I have found a new and absolutely clever quick cleaning trick for the shower. I saw this on Pinterest (via) and I cannot believe I had never heard of it before. All you need are the three things in the picture below, most of which are already around your house.

First, all you need to do is combine the white vinegar and blue dawn soap together in the scrubber. Then, leave this in the shower and anytime you are in there just take a minute or two to scrub the sides. Before, I used this there was left behind soap scum in the shower that even bleach based bathroom cleaners had not been able to remove. I am so glad that I found this and could not be more happy to share it with you!

P.S. You can check out all these different uses for Blue Dawn dish soap. I was surprised by most of these. Click here to see them. Tomorrow will be another great healthy recipe.

Since, Jay and I are back to doing our weekly home cooked meal, this past week I made this very easy and healthy dinner. I did not want anything that would take a lot of time to prepare since it had been a long week. I found this recipe via Pinterest and decided to try it. While I may have used two baking dishes all of this can actually be combined into one to make it even easier.

Easy Italian Chicken:

Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
Green Beans
Red New Potatoes
Butter
Italian Seasoning
Salt
Pepper

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash Chicken, Green Beans, and Red New Potatoes
2. Combine all in one dish or two
3. Season with Italian seasoning, Salt, and Pepper (to taste or sight)
4. Cut up some butter and place it on top
5. Pop it in the oven for one hour
6. Enjoy!!

P.S. Along with being healthy and easy it is also fairly cheap, which makes it amazing.

1. C. Wonder French Bulldog Ceramic Rectangle Plate
2. Marc Jacobs iPhone Cover  3. C. Wonder French Bulldog Pillow Cover  4. C. WonderFrench Bulldog Notecards
 5. Esty Poster

I really want to get a little french bulldog and I have even already decided what I will name one when I do get one. You are probably thinking I am crazy for having already picked out a name for a dog I don't even have. It is just recently I have been obsessed with them and think that Frenchies are so cute and have such personality.

This is one of my favorite quotes. I completely agree with this quote and try to travel often. There is nothing better than traveling to places you have never been and exploring, especially when it is with great people. I know Jay and I just got back from Atlanta but we are already getting our next trips planned out. Right now we are working on where we should go for spring break, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Lastly, we also just found out that we will be going to Napa Valley in May which we are very excited for. Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Atlanta Trip 2013 Recap

Well, needless to stay the trip to Atlanta was wonderful! Jay and I had a lot of fun and it was nice to have a little getaway. The W Hotel in Buckhead was absolutely amazing and I loved everything about it. The location was great, we were within walking distance to Lenox Square Mall, restaurants, and nightlife. We will definitely go back!

Above are pictures that I took of the lobby and below are pictures of the room we stayed in.

Below are pictures that I took at the rooftop bar Whiskey Blue, which we thoroughly enjoyed!

Stone Mountain Park was a lot of fun. Since, it is winter it was Snow Mountain and we enjoyed going tubing and throwing snowballs at the targets and of course a few at each other.

Well if you guessed that I would be going to Atlanta this weekend from yesterdays hint then congratulations! This weekend Jay and I will be traveling to Atlanta for some shopping and relaxing. We will be staying at the amazing W Hotel in Atlanta, which I could not be more excited for.
Above, is the wonderfully chic lobby. The rooms are styled in the same theme and I love them so much. Below, is the W's Whiskey Blue Bar, which happens to be a rooftop bar. We cannot wait to get to Atlanta and relax here.

In my post yesterday I mentioned that I would be playing in snow this weekend. I know you are probably thinking snow in Atlanta well there will be some at Stone Mountain Park. Stone Mountain Park which is located about 30 minutes from Atlanta turns into Snow Mountain in the Winter. Jay and I have bought our tickets so we can go snow tubing here. Along with snow tubing they have areas for snowball fights, snow angels, and of course snowmen.

This was what I woke up to this morning. It really does look like a Winter Wonderland, which does not happen often in Mississippi. I has not snowed since my freshman year of college which was two years ago, so I figured I would share some of the pictures I took with you. I hope everyone has a great Thursday and if you also got snow today then enjoy your gorgeous snow day!

My sweet little snow covered Bully! Go DAWGS!

As far as my post for tomorrow it will reveal what I will be up to this weekend. For right now though I will give you a hit, I will be playing in some more snow. Feel free to take guess I would love to hear some of them! See you tomorrow!

Healthified Chicken Pot Pie

Everyone loves a good home cooked meal especially when it is comfort food. I have been meaning to blog about this recipe for the Chicken Pot Pie that I made for Jay and I during our December Finals. While it may have been comfort food it was still some what of a healthier version. Even though it was healthier it was definitely not lacking in taste. This is one classic recipe that I will make again.

       Healthified Chicken Pot Pie Recipe:

1
bag (12 oz) Green Giant® Valley Fresh Steamers™ frozen mixed vegetables
3
tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/4
teaspoon pepper
1 1/4
cups fat-free (skim) milk
1/2
cup finely chopped onion
1
can (10 3/4 oz) condensed 98% fat-free cream of chicken soup
1/4
cup fat-free sour cream
4
boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 1/4 lb), cooked, cut into bite-size pieces (about 4 cups)
1
box Pillsbury® refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box
Directions:

1. Cook and drain vegetables as directed on bag.

2. Heat oven to 375°F. In 2-quart saucepan, mix flour, salt, poultry seasoning, pepper and milk with wire whisk until blended. Stir in onion. Cook over medium heat 4 to 6 minutes, stirring constantly, until thickened.

3. Stir in soup and sour cream. Add chicken and cooked vegetables; mix well. Cook, stirring frequently, until thoroughly heated. Pour into ungreased 2-quart round casserole. Unroll pie crust; place over hot filling. Seal edge and flute as desired. Cut slits in several places in crust.

4. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown and mixture is bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

The recipe can be found here. Enjoy!!

Golden Globes 2013

Let me start by apologizing for this being a day late. With that being said lets get down to business. My top 3 best dressed picks of this years Golden Globes are Jessica Alba, Katharine McPhee, and Naomi Watts. Starting with Jessica first, how peachy perfect did she look last night. She looked like an old time glammed up movie star leaving me completely obsessed with this look. Secondly, is Katharine McPhee while she is still new to the Golden Globes she came prepared in this daring black plunging neck. I love that she decided to take a rick and wear this dress because so many people were playing it safe last night when it came to the dresses. Rounding out my top 3 is Naomi Watts. She wowed in this wine (or called Maroon in this area) colored Zac Posen dress. While she may have looked stunning and classic from the front, she showed a sultry side when she turned around to show the gorgeous open back. With my top 3 best dressed being stated it is now time to move onto the worst dressed.

Pictured below are my three worst dressed picks. I love Jessica Chastain as an actresses but this look was a total miss. The color was nice but as far as the rest it was very ill fitting and honestly I hate to say it but it made her look like she had saggy breast, which might be one of the worst things for a woman. Moving on to Lena Dunham, everything about this dress is bad. The color is washing her out and it looks like it is weighing her down. While you cannot see her shoes in this picture it was clear from watching the Globes last night that she clearly does not know how to walk in high heels. Watching her walk up on stage was almost painful to watch because it looked like she was walking on broken glass. My last pick is Halle Berry. Halle may have an amazing body but this dress was not a good way to show it off. The pattern, cut, slit, and the cut out are just all wrong. Also, to finish up this dress was a flash back to all the clothes she used to wear in the year 2000. See you again tomorrow!

Tiffany's

This past weekend I watched the classic movie Breakfast at Tiffany's, which I had never seen before. From the very first seen I fell in love with this movie and especially that floor length black gown. I have always thought Audrey Hepburn was gorgeous but after seeing this movie I am blown away with how beautiful she was throughout the whole movie.

After watching Breakfast at Tiffany's it made me want to get all dressed up. Well, since I would have no where to go all dressed up like that on a Sunday afternoon in Mississippi I decided I would make a collage of my Audrey style. Below, is my Breakfast at Tiffany's look but of course I would pair of it with a chic and gorgeous up do and a red lip.

Lastly, I have decided that I will one day have a party that is Breakfast at Tiffany's themed. I think it would be a great 30th birthday party. Let me finish this post by leaving you with my favorite quote from the movie "Anyone who ever gave you confidence, you owe them a lot." Have a fabulous Monday!
